Thomas discovered Corpus Pilates in 2010. At that time, he already experienced and was practising multiple body techniques like Yoga, Qi-Gong, Tai-Chi, shaolin kung-fu, contemporary dance, Contact improvisation… He was very interested by the means to take care of the body and develop functional efficiency, so he tried some Pilates classes at Corpus. Even if he was thinking himself fit and healthy at that time, after a few weeks practising Pilates he started to notice impressive positive change in his body and also discovered weakness that needed to be worked… Pilates was really what he was looking for to improve his physical fitness and he decided to devote himself to this technique. As he was a close neighbor of the Borrens studio, he started to take Pilates classes almost everyday for years and has since developed a deep comprehension and integration of the technique. He started the teacher training with Kelly in 2017 to share and transmit the Pilates Method.
Thomas has a master in Sociology and Anthropology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He has worked in a multicultural field, teaching french and alphabetisation to migrants. He like hiking in nature. He is also a photographer. He likes to learn and develop his knowledge about body movement. His objective for the future is to continue the training to become a studio comprehensive teacher.
